We are currently seeking a candidate with 6 to 12+ years of experience interested in applying to 2.ink Studio for immediate hire. The firm’s current work engages parks and open space, healthcare, high end residential and urban mixed use settings. We are seeking a qualified candidate to share our commitment to design excellence and exceptional client service. Much of our work is in Portland, Oregon and San Francisco, California so some travel is expected. The position is for a senior member of our team with the following job responsibilities:
- Project management and design of complex projects in a design intensive environment.
- Mentoring younger practitioners and providing technical oversight across all job phases.
- Assistance with marketing, public outreach and promoting the long-term health of the studio.
- Writing specifications and performing construction administration tasks.
The ideal candidate contributes:
- An ability to think big picture, tell a story about the work, and think holistically about the design, context, client, and strategies.
- Superior graphic skills including assembly of presentation packages and 3d rendering.
- Exemplary written, verbal, and graphic communication skills, including hand drawing and computer assisted presentations.
- Experience with a multi-disciplinary team approach, a positive attitude, and a collaborative approach to design.
- Strong technical and construction skills and the ability to manage, develop, and clearly communicate in construction documents and specifications.
- Experience in construction observation, preparation of field reports, and shop drawing reviews.
- Ability to meet aggressive project deadlines and manage diverse project types.
- Expertise in AutoCAD, Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite. Proficiency in Rhino and/or Revit preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
- LEED-AP is highly valued.
- Licensure is highly valued.

0 to 5 Years
We are currently seeking candidates with 0 to 5 years of experience interested in applying to 2.ink Studio for immediate hire. The firm’s current work engages parks and open space, healthcare, high end residential and urban mixed use settings. We are seeking a qualified candidate from entry level (with at least some internship experience) to 5 years of landscape architecture experience to share our commitment to design excellence and exceptional client service.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate:
- Superior graphic skills including assembly of presentation packages and 3d rendering
- Ability to work on or manage multiple complex projects in a design intensive environment.
- Excellence in conceptual design through documentation.
- Exemplary written, verbal, and graphic communication skills, including hand drawing and computer assisted presentations.
- Experience with multi-disciplinary team design approach
- Strong technical and construction skills and the ability to clearly communicate in construction documents.
- Ability to prepare and manage comprehensive technical drawing sets including construction details. Specification writing is a plus.
- Some experience in construction observation, preparation of field reports, and shop drawing reviews is ideal.
- Ability to meet aggressive project deadlines, work between diverse project types and work well within a team setting.
- Expertise in AutoCAD, Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite. Proficiency in Rhino and/or Revit preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
- LEED-AP and licensure is not required, but highly valued.
